This would work if Serchilo supported substitution of template parameters inside command definitions.
General template for searching wikis running with MediaWiki. It provides commands for the Go and the Search option. Go goes to the article with the title matching the query. If there is no such page, it leads to a fulltext search. The Search option forces a fulltext search.
This template has 4 parameters:
- title of the Wiki
- keyword for article search
- keyword for fulltext search
- script URL of the Wiki - this can usually be found out by editing a page. For example, the link Seite bearbeiten (edit) on http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo takes you to http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kosovo&action=edit. The part in boldface is the script URL.
Example for using this template (on a Serchilo wiki page called Kamelopedia):
